An Engaged NEW Voice on Council -
for Okanagan Centre

Lake Country is rapidly growing and I want to make sure ALL residents are heard at council!

For the last 19 years in Lake Country I have focused on my career and family while enjoying all Lake Country has to offer. I have been a part of local committees and groups and now it is time for me to give back to the community as a voice for Lake Country citizens on Council.

What I Stand For

I stand for a community based on sound experienced decision making with a grounding in the past and a vision for the future.

I want to contribute to creating a home for my kids now and a place they will want to stay”

Meet Tricia

“While I grew up in Jasper, I have called Lake Country home for most of my adult life. I love that my family gets to grow in a community with opportunities all around and still have the small town feel.

I have a passion to demonstrate how important municipal governments are and it is where I can make the most impact in day to day life.

I am ready to use my knowledge and experience and bring a new voice to council.

Focus

I see a need to first focus resources on the improvement and maintenance of existing infrastructure like roads and sewer while ensuring the future of the community is considered.

Accountability

I believe a Councillor needs to represent the needs and wants of the community as a whole. I think that means showing up and knowing the issues to represent effectively.

Community

Community is important to all of us and the past two years have shown us that. I would love to see a community hub for all demographics to gather. Sometimes we have to get creative to develop what is needed.
